Ok, pro-lifers. It’s time to act! Time to re-claim the pro-life movement!
It’s time to take back the pro-life movement from politicians and politico-religious organizations whose statements are more reflective of a political party line, than of a genuine pro-life position.

Welcome to the re-launched Catholicsphere!

I had started another blog — The Squiggly Line of Thought – to comment on a wider variety of topics, but then decided to merge that blog and this one to form something new.

While Catholicsphere seeks to provide commentary and insight on a variety of topics (not just “religious” or “spiritual” items) in a way that is faithful to Catholic teaching, it also intends to go a bit deeper into exploring non-doctrinal/dogmatic issues.

In other words, commentary will sometimes “tow the company line”, but not always. In that way Catholicsphere hopes to bring a fresh perspective and approach to some matters, without trying to be at odds with the Catholic Church.

Also, the variety of topics will likely cover politics and government, entertainment and movies, technology and music, as well as Catholic matters — sharing my view of the world.

I’ve been tweeting via Twitter for a little while now, and just created a page on Facebook.  Links to those will be up in the header soon — as soon as I can get the icons worked out — and also intend to add ability for you to share posts you like to other social networks.

I hope you’ll enjoy the new format, and will get into the discussion.  Thanks for checking out Catholicsphere!
