Fireproof arrives on DVD in stores today.

To date, Fireproof (which was made on only a budget of $500,000) has $33.5 million.  While some films gross that or more on their opening weekend, I think it is quite an accomplishment for a film that is unapologetically supportive (and defending) the Christian understanding of marriage.

But, also the film has action and drama that is found in many bigger films.
