Have you heard of the nationwide release of the film, Fireproof, from the makers of Facing the Giants?

If so, are you excited as it is now here?!

Read my previous posting for a synopsis of the film, if you don’t know what the film is about  yet.

Now, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this film, was energized by it, and it made me think more about my own marriage and what I give (and don’t give) to it.

Marriage takes some work — sometimes A LOT of work — but, ultimately, the work you put in (and the prayer you put in) is worth it.

This film is much more than just preaching at you about marriage.  It presented everyday situations that can occur in a marriage …

BUT, this film is also enteraining; having good action and drama.

The film opens in 839 theaters nationwide today.  Depending on how well it does in it opening weekend, it could expand the number of theaters that pick up the film … or, if it doesn’t do well, it may not be in a local theater next weekend.

By going to see the film this weekend it can have the added effect of helping to extend the run and likely touching more lives in the process.

We know that marriages in our society today are suffering many challenges from many different angles.  Just by taking time out to go this weekend to see Fireproof, you could be helping marriages across the country.
