I’ve gone back and forth with what to write … but figured I would give an update to those of you who either are subscribed, or check in regularly for new postings.

On July 13, 2008, both my mom and stepdad were killed in a tragic accident, while returning from a motorcycle trip to Florida.  Just outside Atlanta, they stopped on the side of the road to put on rain gear, as it had just begun to lightly rain.  While they were on the side of the road, a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old woman, driving on a suspended license, went off the road and straight into them.

This tragedy has left my family and I deeply troubled, shocked and saddened.

Our faith is sustaining us as we deal with the aftermath.

I will likely return to blogging when I feel the time is right and there is more to say … but right now, I just don’t feel like I have the words to say much.  I may also post things that I come across that are helping my family and I cope, and that gives reassurance to us of our Good and Almighty Savior.

I ask that you keep our family and friends in your prayers.
