When Friday Comes
So, the reports from the Vatican is that the much awaited Motu Proprio on the Mass will be out sometime in the next week. There have been lots of rumors and reports in the past, but this seems to be the real deal.
Speaking of waiting .. the waiting is over for the iPhone. Now folks can flock to their local AT&T stores and pay alot for a first generation of this supposedly revolutionary phone that does so much more. I’ll pass. After all … it’s a phone, with a bunch of other gadgets thrown in that run down the battery too fast, and which aren’t all that spectacular. For all that money, I could have 3 or 4 devices that each do what they are designed to do, well. Instead of one device that does these things mediocre.
Personal Finance Blog, Get Rich Slowly, has posted “Extreme Personal Finance: Living on $12,000 a year”. It links to a political blog about protesting the war by, essentially, quitting your job so you won’t pay income tax … but there are some great cost cutting tips in there to make it worthwhile to cut down your expenses, pay off debt and “live like no other”.
Wendy’s is expanding its breakfast menu. Menu items include a biscuit sandwich, a steak and egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll and a breakfast burrito. Some stores will sell chicken biscuit sandwiches and sausage, gravy and biscuits.
Gays, who originally told the government to stay out of their bedroom and that what two adults do in private is their own business, continue to push their way into the classroom.
