Surf’s up! CatholicSphere Wednesday
Need to spend some time today working on some things. I hope to get back to the “Swayed by anti-Catholicism” series tonite and have a post on “Scripture and Tradition” tomorrow.
In the meantime, here are some links I came across that I found interesting …

[Economy] Think gas prices are outrageous … better check your grocery bill. — Chicago Sun-Times
They are talking about gas prices hitting $4/gallon or more as prices were rising, but have eased, over concerns of a cyclone approaching the Persian Gulf that could have interrupted drilling. But, then on top if, there is mention that milk might jump to $4/gallon and could even spike to as much as $5/gallon. Right now, we pay about $2 - $2.20/gallon; although we are kinda in America’s Dairyland.
So, then add in the higher cost of other groceries — up approximately 4% over last year — and we’ve got an economy that is looking for a crash.

What is going to happen to even those if the cost of living suddenly spikes, as was mentioned in an article I linked to yesterday about the rising cost of groceries? How much effect have rising gas prices had on your ability to pay bills and debt or save and invest for retirement (or generating income now)? [...]
