Few Catholic colleges still don’t get it

LifeSite has posted the names of 11 Catholic colleges that invited problematic speakers to address their graduating classes. They range from those supporting abortion rights to those supporting embryonic stem-cell research, gay marriage or women’s ordination.

The upside is that it’s down from 24 in 2006.

The downside is that its still 12 speakers (at those 11 colleges).

CNS also commended 14 colleges for honoring Vatican leaders, bishops and leading Catholic thinkers including University of Notre Dame philosopher Ralph McInerny and Rev. Richard John Neuhaus of First Things.
