‘Nativity Story’ star gives birth

Keisha Castle-Hughes played the Virgin Mary in last year’s film, The Nativity Story. Many expressed shock and outrage when they found out at the, then, 16-year-old actress from New Zealand was pregnant.

She has given birth to a baby girl. Also, in a recent interview, she admits that the media made her feel bad about the pregnancy. They probably would have wanted her to do the “responsible” thing and abort the child.

However, although now only 17, she felt ready to have a baby, she said.
“If it wasn’t meant to happen now, it wouldn’t have happened now.”

The only problem with that is that if she “felt ready” then her and her boyfriend would have confirmed that in a marriage commitment to each other and their daughter. Despite the fact that it is possible to raise a child outside of marriage, and that the promises and vows of a majority of people aren’t worth spit, children were meant to be raised in a family, knowing their biological parents.
