Find time and money: Create a budget

Having a budget can be a key strategy to finding more time, doing more with less time and money, and making sure your money is being utilized appropriately.

Over at the Get Rich Slowly blog is an updated version of the “Get Rich Slowly Budget Workbook“.

Some can manage their money without budgets, but most can’t — which is evident by the high level of consumer debt, the success of payday loan companies, and those with poor credit ratings who are forced to pay high interest for loans. Not to mention the low savings rates.

All those things tie you to your job, your paycheck and can be a source of stress keeping you from enjoying the more important things in life … namely your faith and you family.

If you don’t already have a budget, I highly recommend it if you are living paycheck to paycheck or have no plan on how to get out of debt — and the vicious cycle of day-in/day-out life of work.
