Day of Truth
“Day of Truth” is coming up soon: April 19, 2007. Be sure to get involved in bringing truth to your school.
Many students today are being overwhelmed and indoctrinated by the homosexual agenda being perpetrated in their school. On April 18, 2007 - the day before “Day of Truth”, the homosexual community is rallying people to participate in “Day of Silence” to show their support for the homosexual lifestyle.
“Day of Truth” aims to speak the truth in love. Joe Infranco, senior counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund, which is sponsoring the event and offering assistance to students who initiate it at their schools said:
Silence doesn’t teach anyone anything. An open, honest, and respectful discussion, however, allows truth to rise to the surface.
Many students also don’t know that they have the right to speak and stand up for what they believe.
In 2005, ADF launched the Day of Truth as a peaceful, nationwide, student-led event, and in 2006 more than 2,800 students from more than 800 schools across the country participated in the event. So far this year, 3,691 high school students have registered for the Day of Truth.
“The First Amendment allows for open discussion,†Infranco explained. “Allowing students to have a Day of Silence without allowing students to have a Day of Truth limits free speech and the free exchange of ideas. Limiting the free exchange of ideas limits our ability to make good decisions.â€
The more people that get involved the better. There are strength in numbers. It will show that you will stand up for what you believe and will not be bullied. You are not alone.
Once you’re registered, take the time to spread the word by sending your friends an email with more information.
