Christians under attack at universities

At Savannah State University, washing the feet of members of a Christian group has brought expulsion from SSU for “hazing”. It has also been accused of “harassment” because members were sharing their faith. The group, Commissioned II Love (C2L), has now been expelled from the university after some members of the group attended and off-campus Christian music event during a suspension received pending investigation of the charges. An attorney for the ADF has voiced criticism of universities and officials who have “become increasingly hostile to the expression of Christian viewpoints.

“Using tactics such as ‘nondiscrimination’ policies, speech codes, and ‘safe space’ zones, university officials are singling out Christian students for censorship and punishment,” said Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) Senior Legal Counsel David French in statement prior to a lecture this week about how Christian thought and voice are suppressed on today’s university campuses.
