Happy New Year!
May you have a blessed and happy new year!
With the new year, many feel like they can get a fresh start on life. As such, they make resolutions or set goals for things they would like to accomplish in the coming year. Others, having broken their resolutions almost as soon as they make them in years past, may have resolved to make no resolutions.
While the most important resolution I feel one can make is to work on one’s devotion and relationship with God, it might be that one doesn’t feel like they have the time (especially with the addition of new resolutions!)
But, in the past few months, I’ve stumbled across a few sites that can offer advice on being more productive, cutting costs, etc so that you might have more time for what’s most important.
One of the those sites is LifeHacker.com. Their motto is “Don’t live to geek, geek to live”. It has tips and tricks for improving your productivity and shortening the time to get things accomplished … getting more organized, etc.
Another site I’ve found interesting is The Consumerist (Shoppers Bite Back). Readers are updated on news from the retail world, provided money-saving tips, and given a forum to report problematic shopping experiences. The guy running the site is pretty humorous and some of the situations, like this recent experience at Best Buy, are quite interesting.
I plan on providing more links to interesting sites in the coming year, so be sure to check back. And, if you have any that you’d like me to look at, be sure to comment or email me.
Just be sure that visiting all those sites doesn’t consume all your new found time!
