I was listening to this song on the radio the other day, which had the following lyric …

I try to see the good in life.
But good things in life are hard to find.

It was something that made me think a little bit about people “looking for the good in life“. It is no secret that people are, in general, looking for happiness — looking for good things that will make them happy. The daily grind, the disasters, wars, fears, illness, etc of this world can mask all that — making it hard to find.

It seems better, though, to look at something higher than this life. Instead of trying to find meaning and good to this life, in this life, it would be best to find meaning above and beyond this life.

That’s why I say we need to be looking for the God things in life.
