As Pope Benedict XVI travels to Turkey today, and is there through this week, the Knights of Columbus has encouraged all the faithful to join in prayer for the safety of the Pope, the people of Turkey, the whole Islamic world, and that this visit will be fruitful in furthering peace between Catholics and those who profess Islam.

The Pope will be in Turkey from Tuesday, November 28th through Friday, December 1st.

The Knights have put together this prayer for the faithful to pray on a daily basis, that God’s will may be done and His hand of protection may be upon Pope B16.

During this week, I encourage you to make the Trip Prayer your browser’s home/start page, as a reminder to pray it daily. I believe it is an important witness and sign of our communion with the Pope and the rest of the Body of Christ.
