X-3 breaks the ‘Code’

Looks like [tag]X-Men 3[/tag] will break [tag]The Da Vinci Code[/tag] this weekend. With only estimates in for Friday through Sunday, it appears that X-3 will take in more than $100 million, having snagged about $45 million in it’s Friday opening. In fact, according to BoxOfficeMojo, X-3 will probably attain #4 on the list of all time best openings.

By comparison, Da Vinci took in around $27 million on it’s opening day, barely beating [tag]The Passion of the Christ[/tag]’s Wednesday opening by about $1 million, but behind the Passion on its opening Saturday by about $6 million.

But, the media has latched on to The Da Vinci Code with a fire it didn’t have for The Passion. Jimmy Akin posted a link there to A Special Report by the Media Research Center called “[tag]The Trashing of the Christ[/tag]“. Very interesting stuff … showing the double-standard and anti-Christian bias harbored by the majority of the MSM.
