NBC at it again, this time on “Holy Thursday”
NBC Offends Christians Again, this time with an episode of “Will & Grace”.
- The April 13 episode will mock the crucifixion of Christ, the American Family Association said.
April 13th is “Holy Thursday”.
- “On the April 13 edition of NBC’s Will and Grace , Britney Spears will appear as a Christian conservative sidekick to Sean Hayes’ homosexual character, Jack, who hosts his own talk show.
“Jack’s fictional network, Out TV, is bought by a Christian TV network, leading to Spears contributing a cooking segment called ‘Cruci-fixin’s.’
About a month after that, the show will leave the air with its final episode. Some are saying Britney Spears would be better as a “trailer park neighbor” on My Name is Earl.
There is huge anger in Europe over a cartoon of Muhammad, yet othing deters the bashing of Christians and specifically of Catholics.
Michael Gaynor over at Alan Keyes’ RenewAmerica has this to say about NBC — the Network Bashing Christianity. Another article by Guy Adams, an analyst for RenewAmerica, is titled NBC mocks Christ. In it he explains why this offends him:
- The only reason I can do what I do in spite of a life that is less than perfect is because my Savior, Jesus Christ, forgave me. And He continues to forgive me, despite all my shortcomings. God was only able to forgive me because He sent His Son to die on the cross for my sin, and for yours.
Now NBC wants to mock Christ’s crucifixion. Jesus does not need for me to defend Him, of course, and that is not my intent. I am, however, incensed at NBC’s retaliatory salvo at mocking the very crucifixion that made my forgiveness possible.
I urge you to follow the links and contact your local stations not to carry the episode.
