During the season from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve, many are rushing about shopping for gifts, baking Christmas cookies, decorating the tree and the house, and/or attending Christmas parties, perhaps among other things. Oftentimes, it becomes a mad dash to get it all done, and to some may feel like a chore. To others, it gets them in “the Christmas Spirit”. No matter the outcome, it is all a search for Christmas Joy that will hopefully culminate on Christmas morning, when they and their loved ones meet at the Christmas tree.

There is an urgency in these last few days before Christmas. Many rush about to get the last bits of their shopping or baking or other preparations done; others have just started.

And, for these, after this weekend, the result will be another “Christmas past”…
