Apparently the latest Christmas trend is the upside-down Christmas tree. Companies like Target and Hammacher-Schlemmer are selling them, and say they are selling briskly.

But, with evergreens as a symbol of Christ, and talk that the tree’s pointing to heaven is symbolic, turning it over seems a very bad thing.
