Logic is in the eye of the dissenter
Many know that I frequent the Delphi Forums, particularly CatholicSource.
From time to time I visit other forums, such as Catholicism, just to see what’s going on.
When I went over today, I found a very interesting posting on “at least 7 reasons women can and should receive Holy Orders”, originally dated November 5th. The same person who authored such a posting had, only days earlier, told a poster, “I see that you are still bashing the catholic teachings, eh?”
I always find this very interesting when you have someone who is dissenting from Church teaching reprimanding others on their bashing of the Church. A 1996 article from This Rock answers many of the issues raised on women’s ordination in the above cited posting. And, Karl Keating’s recent e-letter addresses some of the illogic of dissenters; and a November 2002 This Rock article talks about how heresy is now called dissent.
