Catholic school says “no” to American Girl
Some readers may recall my earlier post reporting that American Girl was supporting a pro-abortion corporation. Now, a Catholic school near Milwaukee, Wisconsin has cancelled a fashion show put on by American Girl because of the company’s affiliation and support of the other company. The other company, Girls, Inc., has also affirmed lesbian sexual orientation.
I, for one, applaud St. Luke’s in Brookfield for living out their identity in Christ; for living out the Catholic faith, and saying no to those who would help continue the spread of abortion.
[...] It’s the least they can do to begin to heal the wounds they’ve inflicted on this little girl. Anything less really doesn’t cover it—especially if it’s only a token gesture that is simply done to lessen the negative image this has cast on the company (as if they didn’t already have some problems because of their support of a pro-abortion girls’ group).
