CBS and ABC will both be airing specials covering the life of Pope John Paul II this season. No specific air dates have been released. The CBS miniseries, to be shown over 2 nights, connected with Opus Dei and was given “privileged access”. From the article, it seems the CBS version will be much better, as ABC claims to have “not avoided the controversies”.
