WorldNetDaily: Report cites PETA’s religion bashing
Last year, I wrote to PETA, pointing out that their advertising was offensive and blasphemous to Christians everywhere.
The reply I received was along the lines of “Thanks for your message. But, if you’re a meat eater, then you’re not living a proper Christian life.” I was floored by the accusation, but did not press it further, as it seemed obvious that it would be like talking to a brick wall.
At that time, I did take the time to read some of the justification that PETA uses to force their agenda on Christians. As is typical of those who want to try to pin Christians to the wall with its own authority, these folks are very selective in their citations of the Scriptures.
They ignore things even that occur in the New Testament, such as Peter’s vision from God that showed him all types and kinds of animals, saying “Rise, Peter. Kill and eat.”
PETA bashes Christian (and perhaps non-Christian) religions, and those who believe in God should not associate themselves with this group.
