One of the objections to Christianity, the Bible and the Church is that it is all a creation of man. So, instead, these people are content to follow their own ideas and opinions about God, creation, the universe, etc.

The question is … what kind of alternative is that?

If one objects, for instance, that Christianity is an invention of man, it doesn’t seem to make much sense to follow personal ideas and opinions which are also man-made….
